A 400-year-old home on a quiet lane in the Jewish Quarter, lovingly restored with vaulted Jerusalem-stone ceilings, arched windows, and a shaded private courtyard. Sleeps five across two bedrooms. The house sits immediately beside the Israelite Tower — a municipally heritage-listed archaeological site dating back more than 3,500 years, visible from the lane.
The kitchen is fully kosher with separate meat and dairy. Underfloor heating for winter, air-conditioning for summer, and a rooftop with views across the Old City rooftops toward the Mount of Olives.

Waking up and walking five minutes to the Kotel for sunrise — there are no words. The house itself is stunning; the courtyard was our favorite spot.

Is the kitchen kosher?
Yes — fully kosher with completely separate meat and dairy sinks, dishes, and cookware. If you need certification details for a specific standard, message us before booking.
How does Shabbat work at the house?
The house is fully Shabbat-ready: hot plate and urn provided, manual cylinder locks (no electronic entry), and lights can be set on timer switches on request. The Quarter on Friday night is an experience in itself.
How do we get in with luggage?
The Old City is pedestrian-only — no cars reach the house. Enter via Jaffa Gate or Zion Gate; it's a 10–12 minute walk along stone lanes. We can arrange a porter to meet you at the gate — just ask when you book.
Is there parking?
No private parking — the house is on a pedestrian lane inside the walls. The nearest paid car parks are at Jaffa Gate (Mamilla mall, about a 5-minute walk) and Zion Gate. Both are open 24 hours.
What time is check-in, and can we arrive early?
Standard check-in is from 15:00. If you're arriving earlier, let us know in advance — we'll do our best to have the house ready or arrange a safe place to leave your bags while you explore.
Is there a Shabbat elevator?
There is no elevator — it's a 400-year-old stone building on a pedestrian lane. All rooms are reached via internal stairs. If mobility is a concern, please contact us before booking and we'll walk you through the layout in detail.
